You can take the gems outta the Golden Silver, but you can't take the Golden Silver outta the gems.  
Gunstar Super Heroes is neat and all, but it just feels like a watered down version of the original. No weapon combos (no weapon pickups, for that matter), no throws... and basically the exact same levels as the first game.

Also, Pink was way cuter in the original. :(

It IS kind of odd that they said that they didn't want to just port over the original Genesis game and make a new one instead and then they just ended up pretty much remaking the original Genesis game. But it IS still neat and all.

Thing is, I'd rather that they would have just ported the original over. It was a better game. GSH is fun, but it's really not as good, which is kind of a bummer. Also, they pretty much wrote Colonel Red out of the story since he's like, and optional battle in Black's casino... I liked him. :(

I guess what I really wanted was an actual sequel!

Yeah, that's what I thought they were going to do too. Guess we were wrong.
